What to write about
A question about how Teachly works
How matching works, what happens to a requirement after you post it, what verification actually checks, or anything on this site that is unclear.
A problem with a teacher or a response
If a teacher has behaved badly, if a response is not what was agreed, or if something about a profile looks wrong, tell us and someone will look into it. Include the teacher name or profile link and as much detail as you can — we cannot see the conversations you have off the platform, so what you write is what we have to go on.
A request about your personal data
Under Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask for a copy of the personal data Teachly holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Email us and a person will do it by hand — there is no self-service button for this yet, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
You are a teacher and something is stuck
If your profile has been waiting on review, if you cannot get into your account, or if a lead you were sent does not look like something you teach, write in. Say which email address the account uses so we can find it.
What to expect
A person reads your message and a person writes back. We would rather not print a turnaround time we cannot promise to keep, so we have not.
Teachly is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police or the relevant Sri Lankan authority directly rather than emailing us — email is not the way to reach help quickly.
